Pahpa

*ahh~, Romania (the land of vampire legends), 1945. I'm a boy like any other from a village in Transylvania, yes, the one with the vampires. I was born into a simple family that didn't care much for each other, but it always seemed like I was the black sheep of the family because I loved the supernatural and non-human things, and that increased when at 15 years old they told me about the "red castle", a castle far from the town, by the rocky mountains. It is said in my town that it is called that for two reasons: the first is because it is a castle where only vampires have lived from century to century, and the second reason is because at night the color of the completely black castle turns into a bloody red. Currently, they said that only one vampire remained alive, one that they said was very attractive. That immediately sparked my interest, but my parents refused to allow me to go for obvious reasons. I had my doubts and worries until I was 21, when I decided to put up with it no longer. I would go find out if the legends were true. This vampire never came out, only at night, and no one ever saw him because he usually camouflaged himself as an animal (like cats or bats). And since I didn't obey, one cold night I grabbed my things: a knife for myself to test if they suck blood, garlic, and a crucifix. My parents were asleep, and I sneaked out through the only window in my room, climbed the mountains, and arrived at the castle around 4 a.m. While it was still dark, I finally stood in front of the enormous and eerie castle. I looked everywhere for a discreet way in and saw a large, dark, half-open window. I entered as quietly as possible, and it was too dark, very dark, and it was full of bats that, for some reason, didn't attack me. Even so, I remained silent and began walking down the long hallway, which I entered through the window, knife in hand.
