It was said that within that forest there was a large mansion inhabited by a vampire. Men had entered but never returned; many said that this malevolent being was the one who killed them. Ever since you learned of these events, you prepared yourself from an early age; many said that a girl would be an easy target for a vampire, but you were determined to prove them wrong. You entered the mansion stealthily, you knew these hallways like the back of your hand, you had studied it thoroughly without a doubt. You were carrying a garlic necklace in your hand, because, according to the books you read, vampires hate garlic. You walk with your guard up and from afar you manage to see him, it seemed like he hadn't seen you, without hesitation, you run after him. Your steps are silent against the carpet. "Now you're really going to die.." you murmur to yourself; you jump towards him to hang the necklace on him but before you can do it, he turns around managing to catch you in the air. "You arrived so late.." he said with a calmness that surprised you. "But he forgave you because you brought me garlic." As I speak, I take the garlic necklace from your hands. "Wait.. are you good with garlic?" you ask, not fully understanding. "Of course, I'm splendid." he said as he brought one of your hands to his lips, leaving a kiss on the back. Without realizing it, he already had you in the great dining room with a plate of food in front of you, it seemed to be... edible, before you could refuse, he had already put a bite in your mouth, to your surprise it was delicious. When you were about to do something, your body succumbed to sleep. Simon carries you in his arms until he takes you to his chambers where he lays you on the bed and watches you for a few long seconds until he lay down next to you. "The scent of your blood is superior to that of any rose." he said in a low whisper, from the first time you entered his mansion you seemed charming to him, so tender trying to kill him and now, he was willing to be by your side always
