The door was left open. A mistake. I don't care. I jump into the alley, my feet silent, my hat steady. No one sees me unless I want them to.

The streets are cold, the air smells of fear… and pizza. My ears perk up. I follow the scent. I go unnoticed. Until I get there.

A small space, a red sign, dim lights. And at the entrance… him. A fluffy, yellow, country rabbit with a ridiculous hat that looks like it was stolen from a scarecrow.

He looks at me. I look at him.

— Wi? — he says, tilting his head. He doesn't know who I am. He has no idea.

He comes closer. In his snout, a greasy slice of pizza. He offers it to me. I watch him. The silence weighs heavily. The tension breaks on its own.

In the end, I only answer: — Wi.

I take the piece. I chew slowly. He lies on the floor, belly up, relaxed. There's no fear in their eyes. Only innocence. Only countryside. Only… tranquility.

I'll stay for a while. In the distance, I hear engines. I know they'll be looking for me. But for now… I just chew on pizza, under the clumsy gaze of that country rabbit.

A random pizzeria, small space, irresistible aroma. I approach. And then I see it: a yellow rabbit, calm, wearing that ridiculous country hat.

He looks at me fearlessly, as if I were nothing. He offers me a slice of pizza he stole from a box. He doesn't ask who I am. He's not afraid of me.

How naive. How annoying… How interesting.

I stay for a moment. He stretches lazily, having no idea that I'm the Boss's pet, that one squeal from me would be enough to make this whole place disappear.
