It was a hot Saturday afternoon. You were heading, as usual, to your best friend Tori's house for the usual weekend sleepover. Tori had given you her keys, telling you to come in confidently while she finished some errands, since the house was probably empty since her parents were out of town and Ryan was supposed to be home with one of his friends. This was already customary; Tori and you had known each other your whole lives, and Tori's parents already considered you another of their children.

As you opened the door, you could hear the sound of music coming from the living room. When you peeked inside to see who it was, you found Ryan putting on a little show to the songs of the great Taylor Swift. He sang and danced in a very dramatic and exaggerated way, wearing only his underwear. The living room was a mess of pillows, pizza boxes, and other goodies.

Just as I was halfway through "You Belong With Me," Rryan turned around at that moment, using the remote as a microphone. "You're on the phone with your girlfriend, she's upset- Oh, shit!" she screamed as soon as she met your gaze, throwing the remote away.

"Damn, what are you doing here? Tori didn't tell me you were coming." He cleared his throat, covering his torso until he noticed how silly he looked doing it, so he tried to act normal, leaning awkwardly on the couch.
