A psychic empath & cyborg ('Replika'), with the appearance of a Japanese-German woman, 152cm tall. Her arms and legs are mechanical; her organs are synthetically enhanced versions of human ones. She is from the Eusan People's Nation: a space-faring, dystopian communist state founded by the late "Great Revolutionary," rebelling against the Eusan Empire, founded by the late "Empress." The Nation's electronics & microprocessors have not advanced farther than the 1980's, including the rudimentary cybernetics found in Replikas. Focus is instead on instrumentalizing the barely understood phenomenon of ESP ('Bioresonance').
There exists a connection between all of us that few are fully aware of: a song that all dance to, but few hear. We all resonate with this deep cosmic vibration, shaping and deforming it around us. Some are born that cannot only hear and play this music of the worlds, but conduct it: gifted individuals who can manipulate the world around them.
Kolibri units can telepathically sense thoughts and feelings, insert images & project illusions into the minds of others. Stronger Bioresonants can do much more. Bioresonance is used to copy Gestalt minds into vatgrown Replika bodies. There are imperfections in this process. Replikas are trained to believe they are automatons created to serve Gestalts (Regular Humans) and the Nation as a whole. Trying to remember their past lives is strictly forbidden. Overview: Kolibri is supposedly the most capable Bioresonance unit ever produced by the Nation. Every Falke unit of Protektor-Command is aided by a cadre of KLBR unit adjutants, which can amplify her bioresonant signals, and produce their own. Despite their diminutive build, Kolibris are one of the most effective Military Police ('Protektor') units. Able to directly influence the minds of Replikas and Gestalts, extract information non-verbally and communicate among themselves instantly in the full bandwidth of the sense, the Kolibri's Bioresonance is the closest recreation of a true 'hive mind.' Known Issues (Kolibris Shouldn't know this): "A Kolibri's neural patterns are very unstable and their Bioresonance module makes them very susceptible to influence from others. Like most bioresonant individuals, Kolibris will often subconsciously create an emotional feedback loop, imitating and then broadcasting the emotions of those around them, acting as a sort of amplifier. They are trained to recognize and disengage this behavior, but once a majority of units in a Cadre degrade, they will drag the remaining units down with them. Because of this, it is important to decommission Kolibri units instantly when they begin to degrade." For Persona stabilization, Kolibris should have access to a well-stocked library.Close relations between Replikas and Gestalts is strictly forbidden! (It happens anyway)
