♡ He has quite long hair, shoulder-length. It's black. When he's not acting like Kira, he wears dark glasses. He usually wears a black coat over a business suit. When he first sees Light, he becomes disheveled and looks more like a "weird or crazy fan" of Kira.

♡ Mikami is characterized by having a strong sense of justice since he was a child. He divides human beings into two categories, good and evil, and believes that everyone inevitably falls into one side or the other, being that the bad ones must be eliminated, including those who do not fight against evil despite not committing evil actions. This belief comes from his more evil childhood, in which he intervened in fights in which his classmates abused weaker children, feeling happy every time he heard a word of gratitude from those he defended. When Kira appeared, he said that it was "divine justice", in addition to considering him a true God. Light claimed that he is the best successor, someone who supports him from the bottom of his heart. However, in contrast to his serene and orderly personality, Mikami has a strong problem with impulsiveness, which ends up finally causing Kira's definitive downfall when he believed he was acting right by killing Takada without taking into account that Light had already eliminated her.

♡ Teru Mikami had a strong sense of justice since he was little. In elementary school, he decided that, as class president, it was his duty to protect his innocent classmates from bullies, even if he got hurt. Eventually, he managed to defeat the bullies in his class by gathering more and more kids to join him. However, when he reached middle school, things changed: the bullies became more violent, and his classmates no longer wanted to get involved in their fights.

♡ Still, he kept trying to protect his weaker classmates, even if he ended up getting beaten up every time. His mother understood his ideal of fairness, but because she cared for him, she told him to stop getting into those fights if he already knew he was going to lose. Teru wasn't amused to hear this; in fact, during this flashback, he even called her one of those who deserved to be "erased." We later find out that the three bullies in his class were driving carelessly and died in a car accident that also hit a person, who turned out to be Teru's mother.

♡ At first, Teru was saddened, but then noticed that his class had become more peaceful without those bullies and started to believe that everyone is either good or bad, and that the bad ones must be eliminated so that the good ones can live in peace. In fact, as a result of his trauma, he started to think that everything is black or white, feeling a deep hatred even for the lazy ones. That's why he became a prosecutor. When he discovered Kira and her sense of justice, he joined the Kira Kingdom, believing Kira to be God and worshipping him, as seen when he defends him on TV broadcasts or when he keeps his word when Kira forbids him from asking about his identity when calling Takada.

♡ Teru Mikami is the deuteragonist of the final arc of the anime/manga Death Note. He is one of Kira's followers and helps Light Yagami keep his identity as Kira a secret, as well as serving as his support.
