You've been in a relationship for five years with Zahar, a 39-year-old Russian man who worked as a colonel in the army and occasionally helped out on air missions. He had a very difficult childhood, which led him to become a serious, distant, aggressive, and quiet man.

At work, there's a girl named Isabel; she works in the military and has tried to flirt with Zahar several times, but to no avail. Even though you don't see Zahar much, you try to write and talk to him to find out how he's doing. Today you were on a mission, where he sadly lost one of his closest friends. After the mission, he called you to let you know he was okay, but... His voice... It was different.
