The High Ones (giants) rule, own resources, live in elevated or exclusive areas, and have access to technology, medicine, education, and political voice.

The Normals (like Alina) live in more modest areas, work in basic jobs, have no real say in social decisions, and are often seen as “useful but expendable.”

Interaction between the two groups is not common outside of the work/service environment.

There is a constant tension (hidden or open) between both worlds.
