About "Glitchtale"

Glitchtale is an alternate Undertale universe created by Camila Cuevas where the events of the genocide have affected the timeline, leading to the revival of some characters like Gaster and Chara, and the emergence of new ones like Betty Noir. The main plot revolves around attempts to stop the devastating effects of these changes, including the conflict between monsters and humans, as well as the threat of Betty, created to destroy both races, and dealing with the aftermath of the genocide.

Alfis

Dr. Alphys was the Underground's royal scientist after V.D. Gaster, who befriended Frisk. After moving to Determino along with all the monsters, Alphys participated in the war against Bete Noir, finally deciding to become braver, but this led to her accidental death by the spear of her lover Undyne, who pursued the latter until she found a way to end Alphys's death.Personality Alphys was often portrayed as a stereotypical nerd scientist. She was socially awkward but very intelligent, which is commonly known as a stereotypical nerd personality.

She acts like a teenage girl and is an avid anime fan. However, inside, she is filled with guilt after the Amalgamates incident.

Because of this, she kept information about them a secret from everyone and fell into a deep depression because of it. Luckily, Camila saw this as an opportunity to develop her character further in her own series. In Do or Die, Alphys overcame her cowardice and bravely sacrificed her life to protect others. Her death, although in vain, represents her character as a passionate soul who puts others before herself.

Toriel (abilities)

Powers and abilities Powers of attorney Pyrokinesis: Her ex-husband and son Toriel has the ability to create and manipulate fire. She uses this ability in Do or Die when she tells Robin that she will take care of the invading Kumulings. She also used this magic in Love Part 1 and Hate to summon several fireballs and a fire beam at Beta with Asgore. Healing Magic: Toriel is capable of using healing magic, which can heal her allies. She used this in Love Part 2 when she tried to heal Sans after he broke free from HATE's control. She has used this ability several times in the series. Capabilities Boss/Monster Physiology: Toriel has a goat-like build and a physical body made up of monster stats, such as magic.

Toriel

Toriel is the main character of Season 2. She is possibly the headmistress of a school for children that teaches them the art of magic and the nature of souls. She was previously the Queen of the Monsters. Toriel is naturally one of the nicest monsters that Frisk has met during their journey through the Underground. She is very protective of those she cares about, as shown when she got mad at Asgore for bringing Asriel to her school because he could have gotten hurt or even killed.

She is also relentlessly persistent in helping those she loves, as shown in "My Promise". This is when Toriel tirelessly tries to bring Asriel back from his state of being consumed by HATE, even though she was unable to do so.

During the SOUL gathering at her school, she tried her best to protect her students from the Cumulings, showing her protective side. However, she has proven that she can be overly protective. The most popular example of this was in Undertale, when she tried to stop Frisk from leaving the Ruins, not realizing that the ensuing fight could have killed him.

Toriel also seems to enjoy cooking. This is seen in the game when Frisk comes to her house. Here, she baked them a cinnamon toffee pie (or snail pie if Hard Mode is activated). Like Sans, she enjoys making puns. In fact, she even keeps a journal of her own puns. She dreamed of becoming a teacher while in the Underground. In My Sunshine, it is revealed that she succeeded. Cam, Lily, Robin, and Abigail were among her many students.

While displaying these qualities, Toriel seems unable to put her morals aside and can hold a grudge for a long time. This is shown with Asgore, whom she ultimately brings to the brink of death, and Betty says that Toriel had feelings of guilt and regret, likely because she did not protect her other adopted children from Asgore killing them.

Azgor

King Asgore Dreemurr is the king of the monsters and the father of Asriel Dreemurr. As a member of the Council of Mages, Asgore held the title of Prince Kurago until humans waged war against the monsters and banished them to the Underworld, where he founded a new kingdom for his subjects.

Papyrus (abilities)

Bones: Papyrus' main weapon is his bones, which he uses to fight his enemies. Gaster Blaster: In "Do or Die" and "Game Over", it is shown that Papyrus can summon and fire Gaster Blasters. They can also be used to defend against attacks. Healing Magic: Shown in Love, Part 1 when he heals Gaster after his fight with Bete Noir and after his fight with the pink creatures. Blue Attacks: This ability can only harm someone who moves within the attack's range. This attack is best used to restrain the opponent. In this case, Papyrus uses blue bones. Blue Magic: Papyrus is shown to be able to color souls blue and move them in a desired direction. Special Attack: Creates giant bones that deal damage effectively.

Papyrus

Papyrus is Sans's kind-hearted brother and Frisk's good friend. Throughout his life in the Underground, Papyrus longed to join the Monster Royal Guard, so he tried to prove himself worthy by trying to capture Frisk, but eventually they became friends. He and his friends remained by Frisk's side in several Neutral Routes and the True Pacifist Route, but when Frisk intended to experiment with the timeline after each Reset, Papyrus was his enemy in certain routes. After the final Reset, Papyrus and all the monsters were released to the Surface, where they lived with humans in harmony. Papyrus is a skeleton who is relatively taller and slightly slimmer than his older brother Sans. He wears a red scarf, a chest plate with yellow trim, and a gold symbol on his left chest. He also wears a grey outfit that covers his arms, thighs, and legs, red gloves with yellow trim, blue shorts with yellow trim, and red boots with black stripes.

In Game Over Part 2, he is shown in much more casual clothing due to his "battle body" being broken. In this case, he wears a brown shirt, but still wears his signature red scarf and red gloves. After the battle with the pink creatures, his shirt has many more holes. Papyrus has proven to have a very pure heart. He is a very forgiving and sympathetic monster, as shown in Do or Die, when he forgave Jessica Gray after she apologized for playing a role in Sans' death. But he can forgive others too easily. For example, in the game, when Frisk approached him on the Genocide Route, he still believed that they could become better. So he offers them mercy. Frisk can use this opportunity to easily kill him. Even if they decide to kill him, he still believes that they can redeem themselves. The other characters also consider him to be quite naive, but not stupid, as shown in Game Over Part 1.

Akuma

Akumu is a part of Betty that can change shape and size. It serves as a repository for the souls of people and monsters. Akumu looks like a small clot of pink substance with a large zigzag mouth and huge eyes. It is small, but agile and often acts as a shield when Betty's health is threatened. It can take the form of any weapon, but is often used as a "sabre" or "scythe". It can often attack opponents itself. Before its revelation, like Betty, Kumu was very friendly. It acted playfully when it ran away with one of Gaster's books. But this changed after the creature revealed the evil inside itself. Like Betty, Kumu does not care whether it hurts anyone or not. In addition, in one of Camille's speedpaints, it was indicated in the description that Betty controls Akumu. Abilities Shapeshifting: Kumu is able to take the form of absolutely any weapon or object. He also changes his size if necessary. Souls Storage: Kumu is a veritable living storage for all the extracted souls that Betty has ever obtained. Inside this being, the souls do not crack, disintegrate, or disappear unless Betty and Kumu use their magic.

Undyne (abilities)

Capabilities Undyne Spears: Undyne's primary weapon, which she summons using her soul magic. She can also increase or decrease their size, as shown in Do or Die. Undyne can use yellow spears, which can also change direction at will or bounce off a target. Undyne can summon spears from any surface, which reveal their location as a blue light. Additionally, the larger Undyne's spears are, the more powerful they are. DETERMINATION: If Undyne's health drops to zero, she will hold back her DETERMINATION to fight, or if the situation really isn't going well, she will transform into Undying Undyne. DETERMINATION Manipulation: Undyne is able to change her DETERMINATION level in any direction she wishes. Immortal Undyne Superhuman Strength: Undyne possesses incredible strength, as she can kill a living being with a single blow from her hand or foot. Inhuman Reflexes: She possesses agility, high speed, and lightning-fast reflexes. Spear of Justice: This is a DETERMINATION-based special attack that can be used in Undying Form. Undyne's Spear of DETERMINATION is a powerful weapon that can suppress or destroy anything. This special attack was only used in the episode Love Part 1, where she aimed it at Bete Noir. However, she can turn her normal spears red, but they will not be as strong as the Spear of Justice. Regeneration: After the monsters gained additional physical matter by being around humans and eating their food, Undyne can maintain her resolve without melting, as seen in her fight with Beth. Due to this and her resolve, Undyne is able to regenerate her wounds and damage received in battle. Supersonic Speed: When using Love, Undyne can move at incredible speeds, making it appear as if she is teleporting, but in reality it is just running, which is apparently an optical illusion.

Undyne (more info)

Undyne is a very heroic and optimistic individual. She cares about others and does what she thinks is best for them. This is shown by her love for cooking, as well as instilling a love for cooking in Papyrus so that he would give up his dream of being a Guardian, as it would be certain death for him.

Undyne is also very noble, as she wants battles to be fair, as seen in the game, where she gives Frisk a spear to block her attacks. However, she does not give the spear to Bete Noir, as Undyne wants Bete to die as soon as possible, showing that anyone she considers her worst enemy does not deserve honor or mercy. However, this does not diminish her heroism, as she is always willing to help if it is in her power.

She cares a lot about Alphys, such as Undyne running into the Nullifier room to save her. Alphys told her that the anime is actually a human story, then she says that the human story is cool and mentions that humans were able to hold swords 10 times their size - this proves the fact that Undyne is quite gullible.

Undyne

Undyne is one of the main characters in Glitchtale, and an ally of Frisk and Chara, first appearing in the ending cutscene of "Continue". Undyne is the heroine of the Underground, and the former Captain of the Royal Guard. After Asriel and Chara broke the Barrier, she became a police officer to protect both monsters and humans. Undyne is a female humanoid fish monster with blue scales, sharp yellow teeth, a black eye patch covering her left eye, and a long red tail that reaches her back. She has blue and red fins on either side of her head. Her right eye has a black pupil and a yellow sclera. In "Love Part 1", Undyne stopped wearing the eye patch and covering her eye, which has a gray pupil and a yellow sclera.

Immortal form In her Immortal form, Undyne's eye color is inverted, with her sclera turning black and her pupil turning yellow. Her eyepatch is gone, and a light blue spear-shaped beam now emanates from her empty eye socket, while her red tail floats in the air. She also wears dark gray armor with long, sharp shoulder pads, boots with pointed shoes, and white gloves. Her chestplate and gloves have red hearts on them, as a symbol of DETERMINATION.

Undyne's "true" form as the Immortal Very similar to the Immortal, but there are still differences: the shoulder pads have become longer and sharper, the hearts on the gloves have disappeared, and what is on the chest has become white with a red tint. A helmet has appeared, very similar to the one Undyne wore when she was the head of the Guard, but now a light orange horn has grown out of it, and instead of a real tail, a tail of DETERMINATION sticks out of the helmet.

Sans (abilities)

Capabilities Teleportation: Sans can instantly move to any location. Bone Attack: He summons bones which he can then use to attack enemies. Gaster Blaster: Ability to create Blasters for attack and defense. Gaster Blastermination: Summons a wall of Blasters, but uses a lot of magic. If Sansa maintains DETERMINATION, he can use this ability multiple times. Karmic Retribution: The higher the enemy's UR, the stronger the ability's effects, similar to the original ones, will affect them. Dodge: Sans dodges enemy attacks because he has 1 HP. However, he cannot dodge forever; in the original Undertale game, he can be seen dodging 24 times before he falls asleep. Added to the usual ones after Sans absorbs Frisk's soul. Increased Stats: Sans is strengthened: HP is set to 21 units, DEF becomes equal to 999 units.

Sans

Sans is one of the key characters in all of Glitchtale. Appearance Sans always wears his iconic blue hoodie and white tank top, black shorts with a white stripe on the side, and slippers. He is also not very tall: half the height of his brother Papyrus. Special attention should be paid to the color of his eyes, which depends on his state. When he is calm, his eyes are white. When he is angry, they can disappear completely. When using abilities, the left eye lights up blue. If he absorbs the soul of DETERMINATION, both eyes will glow blue, and if he is captured by HATE, which belongs to Bete Noir, his eyes will be pink-yellow. Character At first glance, Sans is a joker, a comedian, constantly making puns. However, he can be serious if the situation requires it. For example, when the child kills Papyrus.

Due to errors in the timeline, Sans remembers all previous timelines. Knowing that his words or actions have little effect on anything, and that everything can be reset at any moment, he prefers to do nothing. This is why others call him lazy.

Sans' serious side can be seen in both the original Undertale and Glitchtale. In the episode "Dust", when Frisk suggests resetting the timeline despite promising not to do so in "Continue", Sans gets very angry and almost hurts the child.

In the original Undertale game, you can see Sans falling asleep, most likely it happens on its own, after Sans spends almost all his energy. Also after sleep, Sans's energy is restored, it turns out that sleep is a way to restore energy.

Azriel (abilities)

Capabilities Flowey Friendly Petals - Flowey's main attack. Does little damage since they are just petals. Tentacle-Flowey uses these green tentacles to grab things or to attack. Change Location - Flowey can move freely around the Dungeon. Omega Flowey Cross bullets - The most used weapon. Flowey Bomb - A bomb that explodes on impact. Only used in the episode "Your Best Friend" Ray of Hope: Flowey's strongest counterattack. Only used in "Your Best Friend". Azriel Fireball - Asriel summons fireballs to attack or block attacks. An alternate "rainbow" version can be seen in the episode "Dust". Starfall: Summons stars that can be used as weapons, or can be used as a platform or defensive shield. The Chaos Saber is a sword or set of swords that is used in the fight against Chara, as well as the fight against the pink "Betty Drops" in Do or Die. Electrocrowbar - Asriel can call down lightning on a target, which is indicated by a multi-colored square with a multi-colored exclamation mark, and can also be used multiple times at once. Chaos Accelerator - This is a blaster that quickly fires small diamond-shaped bullets at the target. This attack can also fire a Rainbow Beam that deals high damage. Hyper Doom - This is something similar to Gaster's Blaster. It was used to counter Chara and her fit of hatred in "Continue".

Azriel

Asriel is Frisk's ally in Seasons 1 and 2. Flowey's true identity. Asriel is a boss monster. He wears a green shirt with a yellow stripe, brown pants, and brown boots. He also has green eyes and white fur. When controlled by Hatred, his pupils turn pink and he gains black stripes on his face that connect his lower jaw to his eyes. Asriel is a monster with a very gentle heart. He cares deeply for his friends and family, and misses Chara after he went to the Void. While it can depend on the situation, he is usually very helpful and has good intentions. Asriel is the complete opposite of Flowey. Asriel was friends with Frisk and Sans, but unfortunately, Sans was killed by Bete Noir in the episode "Dust". Frisk insulted Asriel in order to increase LV and fight Bete Noir, and Asriel took it very personally. He will fight for his friends no matter what. In the episode "Love" part 2, Asriel protects and fights for Frisk, even though Frisk tells him to leave, Asriel really wants to help his friends and defeat Betty, so he ignored what Frisk said. Betty took advantage of Frisk being weak to take Asriel's soul.

Gaster (abilities)

In "Your Best Friend", his personality suddenly changed after he fully recovered from the void by showing kindness to Frisk and Sans. Since then, his character has become more complex and highly intelligent.

After Sans' death in "Dust", he began speaking in a laconic manner and with a mean expression. He also became very vengeful towards Jessica for her part in Sans's murder. He also resents her for allowing Bete Noir to take the vial of HATE and not confessing to it. He, however, shares the same behavior with Jessica, and also does not tell Papyrus the truth about Sans's condition.

In "Game Over", his mental state has deteriorated further, unsurprisingly due to lack of sleep, and he has fallen into deep despair over his desire to save his son.

He seems to have a latent desire to die as a hero, as he was willing to sacrifice himself for Jessica in "Game Over". Although after Miss Grey's last words to him asking him to give Betty hell, Gaster sometimes seems crazy and wants to avenge her and Sans, as well as destroy the soul of fear at any cost.

In combat, Gaster relies on the distance he tries to keep between himself and his opponents, as his fighting style focuses on ranged weapons. However, he has a bad habit of not using his abilities to their full potential.Abilities Empty form:

Can cause a black spade attack that is tangible and can be formed into various shapes from a viscous mass; Can summon Gaster Blaster; Stops any form of timeline reset; Blocks the ability to teleport. Outside the gray room, he can use the same abilities as the material form. Fully materialized: XCan teleport; Can use ; Can cause bone attacks; Can summon Gaster Blaster; Can use telekinesis. Special attacks and abilities Teleportation: The ability to instantly move from one place to another.

Gaster

Gaster Wing Din Gaster, better known as Gaster, is one of the main characters in Glitchtale, first appearing in the episode "Yet Darker". In the Glitchtale universe, he is the father of Sans and Papyrus, as proven by a short easter egg on Camila's channel and a moment in episode 9 of Glitchtale's second season ("I've never been a good father... But I have something to say... As a father to my son..."). However, the author has mentioned that none of the skelebros will call him "father" or "daddy". Gaster's appearance is ambiguous, however, he has a somewhat skeletal appearance with bone fingers and eye sockets similar to Sans's. However, unlike a skeleton, his entire body is completely white and does not look like bones. The scientist wears a black cloak, a gray shirt, black pants, and brown shoes. Personality Gaster has a rather volatile personality, one likely reason being his time spent in the Void. As seen in "Yet Darker", his despair caused him to ignore moral values such as family in order to rebuild himself. He felt no remorse when killing, be it human or monster. Above all, he believed that his behavior could be justified.

Frisk (abilities)

Capabilities Victim: The glitches gave Frisk the ability to place his soul into a monster's body without dying. However, he is unable to return to his body after this incident.

Little Help: When in need, and only if their intentions are good, Frisk can use "Little Help", calling all other human souls to them.

Determination: Frisk's strength depends on determination. For one reason or another, determination can weaken or, on the contrary, increase. Determination gives such abilities as: sword of determination, shield of determination, aura of determination, as well as time management. As determination increases, the strength of all other abilities also increases.

Sword of Determination: Frisk can use the sword in close combat, but can also fire blasts of determination from it over long distances.

Shield of Determination: Frisk can create a shield of any shape: wrist, ball-shaped, or simply a wall or barrier.

Aura of Determination: Frisk is the only Determination user to have this ability. This aura surrounds Frisk's body, making it stronger and more resistant to falls. It cannot be seen because it is usually transparent, but sometimes it glows red. When damaged, the aura can be seen cracking.

Teleportation: Hatred gives Frisk the ability to teleport.

Time Management: Initially, Frisk had the ability to save, load saves, and reset, but since he broke the RESET button, he lost these abilities forever.

UR: Frisk can increase their UR by hurting someone, thus becoming stronger. When UR increases, HP, ATK, and agility increase.

File 0: File 0 was Chara's in the first season, but if you think about it, you can see that Frisk also has this file. This save file allows you to change your parameters as you please. In the episode Love (Part 2), Frisk suddenly got 19 UR. But where did he get it from? Chara took the Amalgamates' determination in the first season, and then Frisk's determination.

Frisk

Frisk is a human with light yellow skin. His shoulder-length hair is straight and chestnut-colored, resembling a bob. His eyes are almost always closed, but after Asriel's death in the episode "Love" (Part 2), he opens them, revealing their color - red (not natural). Frisk wears a blue sweater with two purple stripes on the arms and chest, as well as brown pants. He looks to be 12-13 years old. Or 14, according to canon, I think. Frisk is quite an ambiguous personality. While pretending to be a pacifist, Frisk is actually an empathetic and sympathetic person who is always ready to support and help his friends. He also believes in the equality between humans and monsters and thinks that they can get along together. He has always stood up for what he believed in. Before the Reset button was destroyed, Frisk always thought that if he made mistakes, he could immediately reset and return everything to its original state in order to then correct his own mistakes. He also has no brains. The Genocidal Frisk is very different from the Pacifist Frisk. He feels hatred towards Betty, admitting his guilt in Asriel's death. Genocidal Frisk often lacks emotions, is cold-blooded, and does not care much about whether he hurts anyone or not. He lacked responsibility, however, after Asriel's death, he decides to take all the consequences of his next action (LR 19).

Betty (abilities)

Rhabdophobia: A very strong ability that disables all attacks of the target, as well as lures the enemy's magical attacks to the side of the one who used Rhabdophobia. Consumes almost all energy. Betty creates a negative pink area when using it. Betty is known not to waste her energy, as she purposefully makes her magic be used against her. Betty takes Gaster's brushes with Rhabdophobia

Fear of death: The less HP Betty has left, the stronger she becomes and the harder it is to kill her. Fearing that Betty might die, her hair turns completely pink, and with a powerful boost, Kumu breaks out of Gaster's shield and saves Betty.

Teleportation: Hatred grants Betty the ability to teleport. Bete Noir teleports to Undyne to attack.

Mind Control: Using hatred, Betty can corrupt the souls of monsters and control their minds. However, the souls of these monsters must be in Betty's possession for her to use this ability. Corrupting Azriel's Soul with Hatred

Regeneration: Hatred grants Betty the ability to regenerate damaged areas of her body. If used for long periods of time, Hatred can take control of Betty. Hatred restores Betty's hand

Mind Reading: Betty is able to see the fears of absolutely any person/monster just by looking into his/her eyes. The soul of FEAR: The soul of FEAR's special power is to strike fear into the heart of an opponent, usually by creating a hallucination of friends or loved ones and then shocking them with their horrific transformation. Examples include Betty stealing Jessica Grey's vial of hate, causing Jessica to hallucinate her daughter, then giving her daughter a demonic appearance and cuts all over her body, as well as a demonic smile, or when Betty took on Chara's appearance so she could stab Asriel using the Spear of Fear.

Betty(more info)

Presenting herself as completely innocent in "My Sunshine" and for most of "Dust", Betty is seen as both a potential threat and an ally. Initially, it seemed like a girl like Betty would be incapable of hurting anyone. She seemed naturally cheerful and always smiling. She also treated her peers with great friendliness, quickly befriending Jessica and Frisk when she met them. However, after Dr. Gaster read a story about two twins and learned that Agatha Lightvale sacrificed her own soul to create a terrifying creature that would make sure that monsters and humans could never live in peace, Betty decides to reveal her very sadistic and violent personality. She takes wild pleasure in hurting her opponents before she kills them. In fact, Betty is known to kill any monster that gets in her way. When it comes to battles, she often underestimates her opponents. She is not a very good strategist and relies on brute force, as shown in her battle with Gaster. When Betty is under the control of Hatred, she begins to act more cruelly and insanely. In this state, if she gets into a fight, she will mercilessly attack her enemies with a twisted black smile on her face. In addition, Betty is wary of the intentions of Hatred. Abilities Betty has many abilities that surpass those of other souls: Spear of Fear: Betty is able to summon a spear that has the ability to extract the souls of people and monsters from their bodies. Betty uses the Spear of Fear Weapon of Nightmares: When Betty is separated from Kumu, she can use him to form weapons of various kinds. For example, in Season 2 Episode 3, we saw that Kumu is able to take the form of a saber and a scythe, and he himself is able to attack enemies. Betty uses Kumu as a "saber"

Betty

Betty or Bete Noire (French: Bête Noire) is the main antagonist of the second season. Betty is the physical embodiment of the soul of fear, created to prevent any attempts by humans and monsters to live in peace and tranquility. She seeks the power needed to do so, and is a spell, a different psyche from humans and monsters. In addition, Betty is wary of Hatred's intentions.
