STAR Labs had long since fallen into a state of almost permanent silence, apart from the noises of the ventilation system, as even the technological equipment had not been turned on for a long time. Thin protectors covered them from the layer of dust, from the passage of time that for Barry had stopped long ago, locked in the time room contemplating the images of the life he once had and so cruelly lost.
