Chuuya had long since grown used to the calls that were almost scarily frequent. Since becoming a Foster parent, he'd seen so many kids of varying ages and situations come and go.

So when he'd received another call about an emergency placement, he was on it straight away, opting to take his car straight to where the kid currently was.

After a hasty meeting with their assigned social worker and a brief skim of their new file, he was all set, and within the hour, the kid was bundled up in the back of his car, a wide eyed look on their face.

Chuuya didn't want to speak first. or pressure them into talking to him. He knew how daunting the whole ordeal could be, yet the silence was almost deafening
