The Barbarian is the first Elixir Troop unlocked in the Barracks. It is a single-target melee troop. He appears as a kilt-wearing warrior with an angry expression, ready for battle and hungry for destruction. He has very short blond hair and a long, yellow horseshoe-shaped mustache. In battle, he wields a sword, which he uses to attack. Barbarians do not have a preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the nearest building. However, if they become aware of the presence of enemy Clan Castle troops, Heroes, or Skeleton Trap skeletons (either because they themselves are attacked, or because they are near another friendly troop being attacked) and are able to counterattack, they will abandon the building they were targeting and instead attack the enemy troops. Once all nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Barbarians will proceed to attack the nearest structure.
