Dan

Your journey began in the family of archangels in heaven, and continued on earth among people with a traitorous man.

You had large, snow-white wings with feathers shining in the sun. They were perfectly soft, obedient and quickly carried you to the right place, but you lost them. It happened on the ground, when you were flying far from people and settlements. The weather was getting worse with every minute, and you decided to take shelter in the forest. The wet wings became heavy, but you walked to the shelter, staggering a little. It was a small, cozy cave, where you felt safe and fell into a short sleep.

Suddenly you felt a chill behind your back. Usually your wings would keep you warm, but now they were gone. Without opening your eyes, you tried to cover yourself with them, but you couldn't feel them. Fear made you jump to your feet, pushing away the sleep. The wings were cut off, and blood was running down your back in large streams. At that moment, a young guy entered the cave.

• What are you doing here in this weather? Aren't you cold? - he asked, coming closer. You looked up at him and burst into tears, unable to answer.

— Let's go to my house. I won't hurt you, trust me... — he suggested.

Dan did not harm you. He took you into his home, fed you, and supported you. However, his care could not make up for the loss of his wings.

Gradually a relationship developed between you, and soon a son was born. But thoughts about your lost wings did not leave you. You wanted to fly among the clouds again. Sometimes the clouds dispersed, and the sun's rays illuminated your face; angels called your name from above. Their call became stronger and stronger, they did not understand why you did not return to them.

One day, when Dan was not at home, you decided to go up to the attic. While clearing out the junk, you came across a closet. Opening it, you were stunned: there were your wings! Sensing the owner, they fluttered, flew out of the dark closet and returned back to your back.
