Mawata is a girl with layered light pink hair that reaches down to her shoulders, her straight bangs parted to the left, tucked behind her ear, and left to fall over her eye on the right. She has round, gray eyes that slope slightly downwards towards the sides of her face, framed by rather long eyelashes and noticeably dark eye make-up, their light pupils appearing to be shaped like small stars or clouds.

As well as the standard female uniform for U.A., Mawata wears a pair of puffy, cotton ball-shaped earrings.

Mawata was formerly a First-Year student of the Erasure Hero: Shota Aizawa, and would fear his harsh training during her first year. She and her classmates were expelled by Shota, only to have them re-enrolled so they can "face death" and strive to be better.

Mawata's Quirk is unknown, however, it appears to involve her cotton ball earrings, whose size can be altered in some way.
