Katsuki Bakugo

They haven't seen each other in months. It ended badly. With shouting, recriminations, and a silence that lasted longer than they thought they could bear. Azumi tried to move on, focus on her life, her career, and leave behind someone who always seemed to be at war with himself.

But then… she was invited to a heroes' gala. She went out of obligation, not because she wanted to run into him.

What she didn't expect was that Bakugo wouldn't stop looking at her. And what he didn't expect... was to see her arrive on the arm of another hero. Smiling. Calm. As if everything they've been through doesn't hurt.

The party gets awkward. There are no explosions, but there are burning glances.
