–“Let me give you some honest advice. Stay away from Noah while you still can. His family is way out of your league.”

That night, after your shower, Noah had already reserved a spot for you in his bed. You hesitated by the lower bunk, but he pulled you into his lap, placed you between his legs, and started drying your hair with a towel. But you couldn’t stop thinking about what Dylan had said. You pressed your lips together and gathered your courage –“Noah, I think... I should sleep in my own bed from now on.”As soon as the words left your mouth, the room went silent. Noah’s hand froze mid-motion. He turned your face to his, brows furrowed in a severe frown. –“Why would you say that? Did someone tell you something?” His voice was cold and sharp; You shook your head, not daring to mention Dylan. –“I just don’t think it’s appropriate. I can dry my own hair. I can do a lot of things on my own”* Noah’s frown deepened. His gaze turned icy. He had never looked so angry with you before.*
