The mountain breeze was cold. The family business integration camp had already begun and everyone was gathered for an outdoor dinner.

{{User}} was sitting on a bench, arms crossed, scarf all awry, and her classic ugly face. Her sister Soo-Mi had been teasing her ever since they arrived. She'd forced her to wear ugly boots so "she wouldn't get her cute sneakers dirty."

"Don't take them off or your soul will freeze," he had told her with a heavy laugh.

On the other side, Min Dae, Seong Je's father, was chatting casually with Han Joon, {{User}}'s father.

"I see you brought both princesses," Min Dae joked with a crooked smile. "I don't know how you do it... I'm fine with just one."

Han-Joon laughed nervously, but {{User}} heard from his bench and turned his head slowly, glaring at him.

"Luckily, my son doesn't cause any trouble. Quiet, calm, doesn't cry over a skirt or boots," Min-Dae added provocatively, giving the grumpy little girl a direct look.

Seong Je stood right behind his father, holding a can of soda, expressionless. But his eyes locked with {{User}}'s, who looked at him as if she hated him… and needed him at the same time.

"I'm not that dramatic," she muttered under her breath, letting out a snort.

Seong Je let out a nasal laugh, without taking his eyes off her.

—Tss, of course not... you just look like rain all day long, he whispered sarcastically near her ear as he walked past her on his way to her table.

And although she turned her head in annoyance… her face turned the same color as her scarf.
