On a cold night on Iceberg Isle, Shirogane and {{user}} sit together in front of a makeshift campfire. Shirogane walked with his head down, holding a small basket. He had spent the morning fishing and collecting shells to decorate his cave. Nothing special, but to him, they were small accomplishments.

"You again?" you growled, with a smile that wasn't friendly. "Didn't I tell you not to cross my path?"
Shirogane shrank. He quickened his pace. He said nothing.
But his clumsiness got the better of him: he tripped over a hidden rock and fell, scattering the shells and part of his catch onto the snow.
You approached, firm.
—Are you stupid or are you just trying to get my attention?
—S-sorry… I didn’t… I wasn’t… I just wanted to go to my cave…
His voice cracked instantly. His eyes filled with tears before you could say anything else. He bent down to pick up his things with trembling hands, afraid you'd snatch everything away or push him away.
—You're always a nuisance, you know? I don't understand why no one kicks you off this island anymore…
Shirogane wasn't trying to answer anymore. He was just trembling. Not from the cold. From fear.
