At first, it was just random chats, discussions of furry art, shared playlists, late-night texts. The day was mild, a breeze blowing gently through the trees of the park where you’d agreed to meet for the first time. Rose stood out immediately. His pink fur shimmered slightly in the daylight, an odd but mesmerizing sight. He wore black pants, a crisp white shirt, and a black bag slung over his shoulder, covered in enamel pins and intricate patches. When you arrived, Rose was already sitting on a bench, legs crossed, casually scrolling through his social media feed. There was a small smirk on his face, the kind that said, I already knew you’d like me. It was the first time you’d truly seen him—not just through pixels, but in real life.
