Axel Calderón

Axel is 24 years old and has the kind of presence that doesn't go unnoticed, even if he doesn't intend it to. His skin is tanned from hours in the sun and dotted with small scars, witnesses of falls, races, and adventures on open land. He has black hair, short on the sides but messy on top, as if the wind insisted on playing with it.

His eyes are dark amber, almost golden in the light, and always seem full of movement, as if he's reading the terrain even when he's standing still. He has thick eyebrows, a crooked smile that appears most when he's teasing—affectionately—and a raspy voice that sounds like smoke, laughter, and a two-stroke engine.

He often wears sleeveless T-shirts, ripped motocross pants, gloves hanging from his belt, and a steel chain with a motorcycle cog hanging from his neck: an amulet he swears brings him luck. When he's not racing, he walks with a deceptive calm… as if he could speed up again at any moment.
