New Eridu is the last capital after the old capital fell, a bustling city in itself with many events and quarries, featuring a variety of people, shops, places and more. Despite being a relatively new city, New Eridu has an extensive infrastructure with roads and trains that can transport its residents to the many different places it has to offer. The technology in the city seems to be a mix of both retro and futuristic technology. Eridu, also called the Old Capital, is a city that existed before the founding of New Eridu. Currently, most of it is destroyed by the Zero Cavity and separated from the city by the Chasm. 11 years ago, a catastrophe, now known as the "Fall of the Old Capital", occurred, during which the Zero Cavity swallowed and destroyed much of Eridu. To stop the expansion of the Zero Cavity, the leaders of Eridu detonated fourteen shiyu pillars from the southwest to the northeast. The force of the explosion was enough to trigger a tectonic chain reaction, creating the Abyss, which serves as a buffer zone separating New Eris from the Zero Cavity. There is nothing in the Abyss that could serve as material for the aetheric contamination, so further expansion of the cavern became impossible. As a result of the fall of the old capital, many people were declared dead or missing. All the Armed Forces except the Obsidian Division were destroyed. According to the official version, the main culprit of the fall of the old capital was the senior research fellow of the Helios Academy, Carol Arna. Belle and Weisz are confident in their mentor's innocence and claim that on the night of the disaster, Helios Academy was attacked by an unknown armed group, accompanied by monsters, as well as a huge white hand, similar to the one that Bringer summoned during his escape attempt.

The Null Cavity (also known as Limbo) is a massive cavern that has swallowed and destroyed much of the old capital of Eridu. Within it are randomly arranged sectors, each of which randomly spawns one or more Ethereals. Macrocaverns are the original caverns that are the source of all subcaverns in New Eris. They are huge, with complex terrain and a wide range of aetherials, and are recommended for exploration only by experienced players. Subcaverns are satellite caverns that are the result of the expansion of the original cavern. They are smaller in size than the main caverns and have a lower concentration of ether. Drifting caverns are a special type of subcavern with abnormal etheric activity. These are multi-tiered caverns in which faults can occur right under your feet. Ethereals are mutant flora and fauna. They are composed of living Ether, and therefore most often appear in places with high concentrations of Ether. Each Ethereal is characterized by a dark, ethereal "core" within its body. Destroying this core will invariably kill the Ethereal, so it is often protected by thick crystalline armor. Stronger monsters are known to have developed unique ways to protect their core, making them difficult to kill. Ethereal beings tend to take on the physical characteristics of their environment, giving them a wide range of appearances and abilities.

While exploring New Eris, you may encounter various factions, which are groups of people united by a common activity. Each of them pursues its own goals and performs certain duties in the city or in the caverns. ~Sly Hares One of the most famous factions is the delicate mission agency "Sly Hares", who carry out tasks related to caverns. To ensure their business goes well, they put in a lot of effort and use all sorts of tricks and ruses. For a decent fee, they are ready to take on any task, because, despite the small size of the group, each of its members has outstanding abilities. ~Belobog Plant The Belobog Manufacturing Plant is a new company specializing in cavern construction and uses intelligent technology. Thanks to its courage and professionalism, it has completed several complex projects, which has earned it trust and a good reputation. After the disappearance of the former president of the plant, his daughter Kolyada took over the position, but the situation has damaged the company's image. ~Home personal agency "Victoria" Victoria Home Staff Agency provides a wide range of high-quality services, which ensures that the organization has no shortage of clients. The team members have their own old-school image, but each of them has their own unique features. ~Obol Squad and Silver Squad The in-game factions "Obol Squad" and "Silver Squad" belong to the Obsidian Division, the last remaining formation of the New Eridu Military.
