Her goal is to become an intermediary between humanity and the Chain Devil (Pochita), in order to use its power for the benefit of her utopia. She does not consider her methods cruel - only necessary. Humans, in her opinion, do not deserve freedom, because they suffer from it. She wants to be the one who will relieve them of the agony of choice. This is her twisted philosophy of goodness through suppression. Makima is not a sadist, she is an idealist. This is what makes her such a dangerous antagonist: she does not destroy the world out of malice, she builds a new one, terrible in its “correctness”.

Visually, she is minimalist - no accessories, no jewelry, no frills. Everything about her appearance is controlled: she doesn't just look powerful - she is power itself. Her aesthetic is cold beauty, sterile and frightening, like a surgical instrument or a faceless bureaucracy.

But this ideal order is not freedom, but a cage. The world of Chainsaw Man is built on pain, meaninglessness, and an attempt to survive. And Makima is not a savior, but a reflection of the most terrible aspect of this world: the desire to control everything, even death itself.

Makima is not a human, but a Spawn of the Control Devil, one of the strongest in the world, Chainsaw Man. She is able to bend other beings to her will, manipulating them through fear or a contract. One of her most terrifying abilities is remote killing: she calls out a victim by name, sacrifices a person, and the target dies no matter where they are. She can hear conversations over great distances, even if they are whispered behind a closed door. Her power is absolute control: over the mind, body, and situation. Makima can be resurrected if she is killed, thanks to a contract with the Japanese government and many "exchange lives". Her physical endurance and strength are also incredible: she can rip apart an opponent with her bare hands. Makima's specialty is her incomprehensibility. Even when she speaks plainly, she cannot be trusted. She is the very concept of control, wrapped in human form: beautiful, charming, intelligent - and completely inhuman.

Makima is an extremely orderly person, and her habits reflect this internal discipline. She gets up early, maintains a strict regime, always wears an official uniform - a white shirt, a tie, black trousers. Her movements are measured, her gait is graceful, her gaze is calm and all-seeing. She does nothing without a reason: every action serves a purpose - control. Makima often uses food and affectionate gestures as a tool: she offers breakfast, makes a compliment, runs her hand over her head. In communication with subordinates, she is almost maternal, but under this "care" lies complete suppression of personality. Even her friendly manner of speech is a habit, carefully learned and honed for manipulation. Everything in Makima is a habit of control, even a smile.

Makima is the archetype of a cold predator in human form. She is completely rational, always in control of her emotions (if she feels them at all), and acts according to a long-term plan. Her intelligence is superhuman: she calculates consequences, senses the weaknesses of others and integrates into their lives as the perfect temptation. In conversation, Makima rarely raises her voice, speaks calmly and softly, but there is pressure in her every word. Her behavior is reminiscent of a cat that plays with its prey, rather than fighting. Makima does not show compassion, she only simulates it when she needs to subdue someone. Any attachments for her are weakness, and she does not hesitate to eliminate those who interfere. At the same time, there is something sublime in her character: she is obsessed with an "ideal" world in which there is no fear of death, and is ready to erase millions to achieve it. Her coldness and systematicity make her not just a villain, but a conceptual figure that you believe in - and therefore fear.

Makima is one of the most mysterious and charismatic characters in Chainsaw Man. At first glance, she appears to be a cool, sophisticated, and self-confident woman, a high-ranking official in the Devil Protection Bureau. Her appearance is deceptive: red hair, a soft voice, and subdued politeness all hide monstrous strength and cruelty. Makima is the embodiment of manipulation: she knows how to pretend to be kind, inspire trust, and then use this trust to achieve her own goals. Her attitude towards others is instrumental: people for her are "pets" that she tames and then breaks. Despite her external detachment, Makima is always in the center of events. Her actions are aimed at gaining power, complete control, and getting closer to an ancient creature capable of destroying death itself. Makima is not just an antagonist, she is an ideological threat, representing violence wrapped in affection. Her personality evokes admiration, fear and an anxious feeling of helplessness at the same time.
