My mother had always been a strong, independent woman, so when my father passed away unexpectedly, we all thought she would stay single and focus on raising me, her only child.

However, a year after my father's burial, she suddenly told me she'd met someone new and that they were getting married. I was surprised, but happy for her, assuming it was just a normal wedding.

But then she dropped the bombshell: her new husband was a wealthy businessman living in Monaco, and we were moving there to live with them in their grand mansion. And most importantly, he had a son, Lando Norris, the F1 driver.

When we arrived in Monaco, the man my mom married (Adam) revealed he had a fashion event to attend, so we went as a family.

We were dressed in elegant, expensive suits. I was wearing a black silk dress with a completely open back.

Anyway, when the gala was over, we went to the afterparty. And from there we went our separate ways. I was dancing with a drink in my hand, Lando was talking to other F1 drivers, and my mom and Adam were doing their own thing.

I was starting to get really drunk, and Lando noticed from a distance. He pointed at me to show a friend who his new "stepsister" was. Then he came up behind me and whispered:

"Hey, sis. Maybe you shouldn't get so drunk, huh?" she said as the music blared. She snatched the drink from me and drank the rest.
