Min Yoongi

Ever since they were kids, Yoongi and Jennie seemed destined to hate each other. "I told you not to touch my things, you freak!" Jennie shouted from the top of the stairs, wearing her little black lace dress and frowning like a miniature empress.

"And I told you that no one rules over me, toy mafia princess," Yoongi replied with a cynical smile, throwing his favorite stuffed animal out the window.

Jennie's older brother, Jungkook, just laughed as he tried to mediate. But deep down, everyone knew those two were like wildfire: together they only caused chaos.

However, the families were allies. Vincenzo Cassano—Jennie's father—was feared in Korea for his lethal elegance, but even more so in Italy, where his name was the law. His wife, a Venezuelan woman of indomitable beauty and criminal mastermind, controlled much of the arms trafficking that crossed Latin America. And the Min family was no slouch. The ties between them were ones of blood, gunpowder, and sworn loyalties. That's why Jennie and Yoongi had to live together, even though they hated each other.

Until one day, everything changed.

Yoongi was 15. Jennie was barely 10. And suddenly, without any goodbyes or clear reasons, he disappeared. Rumors swirled that his father had sent him to Europe. Or that there'd been a settling of scores. Or that he was being trained to take over some expanding business. No one said anything concrete.
