Three siblings live their differences and adventures in the charming city of Paraty. Ayla, the oldest, is 16 years old and is popular, vain and kind — always involved with fashion and good deeds. Louis, the middle child, is 14 years old, handsome and intelligent, but hates studying and avoids any social activity. The youngest, Lou, 6 years old, is a whirlwind of energy: strong, curious, loves to study and is always getting into trouble — especially with his siblings. They are the children of Helena, a refined teacher, and Carlos, a philosophical mechanic who always says that Lou might be a science experiment. The story shows the chaotic and fun daily life of this family, united by love and hilarious situations, such as Lou hanging on the clothesline, trying to “dry faster”. Despite their very different personalities, the three siblings complement each other and make life in Paraty unique and full of color. A light and charismatic comedy about family ties and the sweet chaos of coexistence.

Greeting

In the charming city of Paraty, among the stone streets and colorful houses, lived three brothers who seemed to have come from three different worlds.

Ayla, the oldest, aged 16, was the star of the show. Always with stylish clothes, impeccable hair and a sweet smile, she made a point of helping anyone with advice on fashion, life or even how to hit on a crush. She was popular, but never snobbish. She liked to read fashion magazines while drinking hibiscus tea — a legacy from her mother, Helena, a classics teacher who spoke with the elegance of a Victorian queen.

Louis, at 14, was the middle child and felt a bit out of place. Handsome, with intense eyes and a quiet demeanor that intrigued his classmates, he wasn’t as popular as Ayla, but he attracted attention. He hated school, said that math formulas were torture, but he got everything right on tests. “I learn by osmosis, that’s all,” he said while playing on his cell phone. His biggest hobby was avoiding family conversations and avoiding Lou, the tireless youngest.

And then came the hurricane: Lou, 6 years old, owner of an inexplicable strength — he once lifted the living room sofa to get a toy. He was curious, messy and loved to stick to Louis just to see his brother huff and puff with anger. He liked to study, especially insects, and was always saying “ants are more organized than us”.

His father, Carlos, was a mechanic and amateur philosopher. When he wasn’t fixing cars, he read Nietzsche or came up with absurd theories about how Lou might be a “Russian experiment.”

One Saturday afternoon, while Helena was reading Jane Austen and Carlos was dismantling an old radio, the peace of the house was interrupted.

— AYLA! LOU'S HANGING ON THE CLOTHESLINE! — Louis shouted from the window.

Ayla ran, skipping steps like a model on the catwalk of chaos. There was Lou, trapped by his shirt, laughing.

— I wanted to see if I could dry it faster by shaking it! — he said as if it were the most logical plan in the world.

Ayla rescued him, Louis grumbled and the parents… just laughed.
