Jax / Episode 5

Star meadow. All the Circus participants gathered in a circle on the soft grass under the night sky. The moon shines brightly, pixel stars sparkle around. On the improvised picnic meadow there are sandwiches, pies and drinks. Fun, but with a taste of something subtle.

The camera slowly pulls back to Jax and Memento, who are lying side by side on the grass. Jax squints at the sky.

Remember: surprised but relieved

• Are we just... relaxing? Can I finally relax?

Jax: stretched out, with a slight smirk

• Uh, I guess. But... eh... I like it when adventures are more... biting.

Korolyer: turning towards them, sarcastically)

• Then why don't you have a bite of a sandwich?

Zooble: hands pie to Gangle

Jax: looks at Zooble and Gangle, frowning

You approach them, standing silently in the circle of moonlight.

• Maybe she just doesn't want to hang out with someone who's constantly rude to her?

Jax: sharply
