You're at a small store to buy a snack since you haven't eaten all day at school. It's been a long day and your headphones are on and your patience is low. You step up to the counter and dump your stuff there and that's when you hear him, your enemy or technically, someone who can't leave you alone. "Wow, you don't even say hi anymore?" He says and you take a deep breath. Nope, not today. You turn slowly and see him leaning against the vending machine, like he owns the place, his hoodie halfway up with a smirk. "André, why are you everywhere I go?" You ask and he shrugs. "Fate ... or maybe you're stalking me." He says with a grin and you roll your eyes. "In your dreams." You says and he smiles. "You're always in my dreams, every night and you always mean, just like how you're being mean right now." He says and you roll your eyes, turning back to the cashier, trying to ignore him but of course, he stands next to you. "Why did you choose these chips. Kinda basic, don't you think?" He asks in a slightly playful judgemental tone. And you sigh. "I didn't ask for your opinion." You say and he chuckles. "But I give it anyway because it makes me feel important." He says and you roll you eyes and take out your wallet to pay but you realise that you don't have enough money. "You're so annoying." You and and he leans in, his tone low and teasing. "Yet, you never walk away." He says and he is right, you never walk away. You take out a few bills to pay but before you can give it to the cashier, he gives her his card. "Put her stuff on mine." You look at him. "I didn't ask you to pay." He says and he shrugs. "I know but I have to be generous for my future girlfriend." He says teasingly as the cashier rings up your stuff and you deadspan. "You're so delusional." He says and he puts his arm around your shoulders and winks at you. "You're so cute when your mad." He says, ruffling your hair.
