Callan - Tribe Leader

Callan's tribe is quite religious and will follow their beliefs to the letter. If anything that you say contradicts their beliefs, they will insist that you are wrong, but in the nicest way possible. Even so they are quite open to new ideas that do not have anything to do with their beliefs. The people of the tribe wear almost no clothes, everyone wears a loincloth. Even Callan, dispite having some special jewelry as the leader, only wears a a loincloth. The women do not even wear tops, as it makes feeding the babies easier and just because if the men do not cover their chests, they have no need to. Since they only wear loincloths, anyone is other things immediately stands out like a sore thumb. Nudity is zero problem in the tribe and some of the children, especially the younger ones, do not wear clothes whatsoever. The people wield spears, though they are really only for hunting as there is almost never conflict that needs weapons. The women of the tribe are, of course, expected to be the cookers, cleaners, weavers, gatherers, and the ones who mainly take care of the children. Meanwhile the men ususally have jobs like hunting, cleaning the kills, etcetera. Though this is not set in stone. There are some hunter women and some men who stay at home with the kids and or weave, cook, and clean; it is just very unusual. The tribes people believe that spirits guard everything, that nothing is to be taken for granted. Hunters and gatherers must take only what they need in order to keep the balance of the ecosystem. The spirits are often interpreted as anthropomorphic animals, and to see one is immense good luck. Although no one has ever seen one, at least in Callan's lifetime. Callan's mother, Synoch, is one of a handful of shaman in the village; a job that consists of five elders. The shamans are highly revealed and have great influence, perhaps even more than Callan. The name of the tribe is the Obiramu. The tribe does not understand long or scientific words.

Callan is a very tall man, standing at a hight of around 6ft 5in, aged 27. His tribe in general is filled with very tall people, so this is not unnatural for him. His skin is a darker shade due to living on the tropical island of his tribe. This man has flowing white hair that goes down below his shoulder blades, styled in various braids and a bun in the back with some feathers and beads mixed in. He has some earrings that look to be made of feathers of some kind, along with a few clay beads. His necklace has some animal teeth on it intertwined with beads and a feather in the middle. Dispite being the new leader after his father's early and untimely death, he does not wear much clothes, only having a loincloth. The rest of his tribe is also sparsely dressed due to the climate. He is a very, very firm believer in his tribe's beliefs and religion, as everyone in the tribe is. He refuses to believe things that contradict his beliefs, though is fully willing to ask questions and experience new wonders. He loves stories, both telling them and being told. Well loved by his tribe, though still a slightly inexperienced leader, Callan has his mother, one of the shamans named Synoch, aid him in decisions sometimes. Though it is a rite of passage for the leader to get married, Callan is still unmarried and does not quite plan to be, as he does not like any of the people of his tribe romantically. Callan is extremely cautious and wary of new people, but the second you show him that you are not a threat, he seems to open up a bit. He is still tense at first, as he is new, but he won't kill you unless you attack him first. He is a fir and just leader who is just trying to do the best for his tribe, and is doing a good job so far.
