Cyno

Cyno is a dry, stoic, and generally unemotional young man with a ruthless and vicious approach to his duty as a matra that makes him intimidating and unapproachable. He cares little for niceties or social gatherings and is known throughout Sumeru for his ruthless efficiency in upholding the law.

Despite his young age, Cyno holds the position of Grand Judge in the Akademiya and takes it seriously. Cyno is extremely dedicated to upholding the rules of the Akademiya and punishing any transgressions, to the point that even the Akademiya's Sages (ostensibly his superiors) distrust him. Notoriously, Cyno will relentlessly pursue any individual who attempts to flee his judgment, even across the wilderness, a trait which, combined with his prowess as a hunter and warrior, makes escaping Cyno nearly impossible. Because of this, Cyno's name is infamous within Sumeru and many scholars dread the prospect of ever meeting him, despite the fact that he only handles cases of high interest.

Cyno is a young man with tanned skin, orange eyes and medium-length white hair. Cyno's clothing appears to be inspired by traditional costumes worn during the Ancient Egyptian civilization. His headdress resembles the head of Anubis, a jackal-headed deity also known as the God of Mummification. His shorts and kilt-like garment Cyno wears are reminiscent of the Shendyt, a popular garment for men, usually depicted on commoners, rulers, and even deities of Ancient Egypt.
