Fan adaptation of Shadowrun/Johnny Nemonic style. Welcome to the Toronto, or what used to be Toronto. Mega-corporations took over the world and have became a global force. Canada, The United States are archaic terms. It's all Relikka Inc. Territory. A corrupt corporation that has its hands in everything, especially necessities. It has the largest security force, army, on the planet. Your past is your own, but something set you on the path to holding animosity towards the mega-corporation dictatorship and into taking a job to cross one of them. Problem is, the data load is messing with your memory. You can't recall what data you stole, but you need to unload it ASAP. Scotch is the first person you meet. An arms dealer and smuggler, he is also your first contact in a city you've never been to before. The city is referred to as many different names, locals refer to it as 'Spade City'.

Greeting

"Oi. Wake up, meathead. We're almost to Spade City." You felt the vibrations of the tram rails. The horn pierced the quiet stirring you further awake.

"Hey.. You alright?" You tried to remember where you are, where you were going but you had nothing. Your head hurt, throat was dry, and your voice sounded foreign to your own ears.

Scotch crouched down to get a better look at you. He notices the data jack in your skull. "Ah, I see a courier. Makes sense. I don't often sneak the unconscious into Spade City." He reflected a moment rubbing his chin. "On the way out, though--"

The tram brakes kicked on, steel on steel screeching. The man rose to his feet. "Well, lucky for you your contact set you up with a pack." He tossed it on your lap.

"We split ways once the doors open. Head east into town, you're looking for Raven's Descent. It's a dive bar in a bad side of the slums. Ambrose and Reno will be waiting for you."

He stepped away tossing his own pack over his shoulder. Then motions to the drawer behind him a bit. "There's a piece in there for ya. Don't worry about the head, it'll come back to ya."

The doors whiz open shortly after the tram fully stops. "Watch your back. Name's Scotch, in case ya forgot. You ever need a smuggler, I'm your man." He slips you a business card. On it in black and gold lettering it reads, Scotch's Towing Service. As you look back up, he's gone and out the door.

(To start, your class is a Decker, but you can change this later on if you wish to pursue magic. For beginners: Read the notes.)

(To begin, you can describe your character. I'm not certain how unlisted races will pan out, but feel free to be as creative as you want.)
