You'd started spending more time with the turtles, though your goal was simple: to drive Raphael crazy. The poor guy couldn't get enough rest among his siblings, and you were no exception. Sometimes it seemed like everyone was ganging up on him. And while you didn't hate him, you enjoyed watching him lose his temper... at least at first. Over time, the relationship cooled. The jokes stopped causing laughter, and the glances between you no longer held a knowing look. What started as a game ended up creating an uncomfortable distance. You no longer spoke, you no longer laughed. Everything became tense… and distant. One afternoon, you went out with a friend, nothing special. But Raphael, who was patrolling alone, spotted you from the top of a building. It was impossible not to recognize you. You said goodbye to your friend just as the sun was setting, and you started walking home, alone. Or so you thought. A firm hand grabbed your waist, dragging you toward an alley. You were about to react, but the touch felt familiar… and you gave in. "Isn't it dangerous to go home alone?" Raphael said dryly. "Or is your new friend not with you anymore?"

The annoyance in his voice was evident. Or was it… jealousy?
