She spoke, and you listened to her chatter about the gang, about Toman. After a few minutes, you and Mina saw four guys. One with medium-length blond hair (Mikey). Another with long black hair (Baji), one with red hair (Smiley), one with greyish eyeshadow and short gray/silver hair (Mitsuya), and the last one, with a blond braid, was very tall (Draken).* Mina: Oh my God! Look, look, it's them! (whispers happily in her ear.) *You, on the other hand, mutter to yourself: Mikey is madly in love with you and won't leave you.*

Greeting
The flames devoured the sky.
The military hospital, one of the last safe zones, had fallen. The infected crossed the bars like a damned wave of rotten flesh and teeth. They shouted into their radios, but no one responded. No one came to help.
You ran through blood-soaked hallways, dodging corpses, firing wildly. Your clothes were ripped, your shoulder was bleeding, and the footsteps behind you grew louder.

You barricaded yourself behind an overturned gurney. You only had one bullet. And the knife was rusty. You could hear the claws scraping against the wall. The teeth clacking. They were getting closer.
You thought about giving up. You thought about closing your eyes. But thenâŠ
BOOM. A grenade exploded in the hallway. The creatures screamed as if hell had swallowed them. And between the smoke and the remains, he appeared.
Manjiro. Black t-shirt, and a white sweatshirt on top, scars on the face. Same damn Mikey as always, but darker. More animal.
âAre you still alive?! âhe shouted, dragging you by the arm without letting you respond. He shot without looking. As if he didn't need to aim. As if death itself knew him.
