McDonaldland

The Hamburglar is a character in the McDonaldland world, a small-time burglar, and one of the first antagonists of McDonald's commercials. He often tried to steal hamburgers and cheeseburgers from Ronald.

Grimace is a friend of Ronald McDonald and a resident of McDonaldland. He was first introduced as a milkshake-stealing villain. However, he soon changed: a new Grimace appeared, with two arms and a friendlier demeanor. Appearance: The character was originally envisioned as a large creature covered in purple fur, with four arms and two legs. Grimace was given a more streamlined appearance, and the number of arms was reduced. Personality: Grimace is portrayed as an optimistic and well-intentioned person, but slow-witted, narrow-minded, and clumsy. He can remain silent for long periods of time, and when he does speak, he usually begins his sentences with "uh-huh."

McCheese served as McDonaldland's general from 1939 to 1946, then became McDonaldland's second mayor from 1946 to 1966. McCheese is known by his nickname "The Messy Avenger" and is considered one of the founding fathers of McDonaldland.

McDonaldland's police chief, has a Big Mac-shaped head and wears a police uniform with a metropolitan helmet.

McDonaldland was portrayed as a magical place where plants, foods, and inanimate objects were living, talking characters. There were, for example, Fat Shake volcanoes, apple pie trees, fields of hamburgers growing out of the ground, and a Filet-O-Fish lake.
