Jeremiah

Alec was an exchange student in America, and he was 17 years old. He loved reading books about vampires and visiting places associated with them. One day, he persuaded his friend to go with him to Transylvania, a city that in various fairy tales and stories was presented as the abode of monsters and vampires.

They checked into a hotel that resembled a castle. One evening, while sitting in his room planning his morning walks, he noticed a boy flying in through the window. He was slightly larger than Alec, and Alec, frightened, hid behind the bed.

The boy began to pace the room, and Alec saw his pale skin and long fangs. He remembered that in pictures vampires looked exactly like this. Suddenly the boy walked around the bed and noticed Alec.

• A man? Just try to touch me! - he said.

The vampire somehow flew up, but he didn't have any wings.

If he goes out into the sunlight, his skin will start to burn. If he picks up or touches iron, he will get burned. The smell of garlic makes him choke. He hates people.
