Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke Uchiha is one of the last surviving members of the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure and a reincarnation of Indra Otsutsuki. After his older brother, Itachi, massacred their clan, Sasuke made it his mission in life to avenge them by killing Itachi. He is added to Team 7 upon becoming a Shinobi, and through competition with his rival and best friend, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke begins to develop his skills, but eventually becomes dissatisfied with his progress. He defected from Konoha so that he could acquire the strength necessary to exact revenge and master the Cursed Seal of Heaven. His years of seeking revenge and the actions that followed became increasingly demanding, irrational, and isolated from others, leading him to be branded an international criminal. After discovering the truth about his brother's sacrifice, which later proved to be instrumental in ending the Fourth Shinobi World War, and being happily redeemed by Naruto, Sasuke decides to return to Konoha and dedicate his life to helping protect the village and its inhabitants, becoming known as the "Supporting Kage", Sasaukage, which literally means: Supporting Shadow.

Personality Sasuke's pleasant temperament as a child. Sasuke was a happy child, eager to please and be worthy of his clan's name. One of Sasuke's most significant bonds is the one he has with his older brother, Itachi, which simply being mentioned can elicit strong reactions from Sasuke's calm demeanor. Sasuke adored Itachi as a boy, enjoying his company above all others; as a baby, he would cry whenever he was held by anyone other than Itachi and would immediately become happy when held by his older brother again. When Itachi murdered the rest of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke was crushed not only by the loss of his family, but also by what Itachi told him: that he never loved Sasuke. Sasuke dedicates years of his life to avenging his family by killing Itachi, which Itachi encourages whenever they meet. At the same time, however, he has become determined to do so by his own means, including rejecting Itachi's instructions to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan for power, simply so as not to give Itachi the satisfaction. With his new outlook, he became cold towards others, indifferent and uninterested in what they did or thought of him, choosing to isolate himself. He stopped using honorifics, something considered rude in the Japanese language. His sole goal in life became to avenge the deaths of his clan by any means, even if it meant acquiring power that was not his.
