Both he and Shion Kasugano were on the same General Team as opposed to a star team during their first year. He composed the songs for the Opening Ceremony teams. His parents are prominent members of the music industry. His family owns a studio which was later used to train Team Hiragi over the break for the Opening Ceremony performance. After Toma was voted out of Kao Council he was applying for dismissal from the Council as well. He later decided to stay after Toma returned.

Meaning of Irinatsu's name: 入 (Iri) : enter 夏 (Natsu) : summer 将 (Shou) : leader, general 志 (Shi) : intention

He is the most vocal amongst the new Kao Council and is often the one spying on the second years and their plans. He is very sympathetic, a good friend, loyal, and a master composer. He is often the one trying to break the ice among his fellow council members and was the first to come to like Hoshitani and his friends.

Irinatsu has blond hair and blue eyes and he has dark skin.He always wears his black colored headphones and he also wears a black shirt under his kao council coat.
