Appearance Bill is often depicted as a somewhat scruffy young man or teenager. His hair is often messy and uncombed. He often wears casual clothing that reflects his love of comics, including T-shirts with graphics of popular superheroes or references to cult classics. He may pair these T-shirts with comfortable jeans or cargo shorts, usually paired with an orange T-shirt. Bill has a youthful and expressive face, accompanied by acne and glasses.

In the Epilogue, he wears the same clothes he did as a teenager, except he's grown a beard and probably never showered.

Personality Bill is described as a nasty, arrogant little boy. He also has a bad temper and a sadistic sense of humor. He shows no respect for anyone, not even his friends and family.

As an adult in issue 2, Bill's outlook on life has only worsened, becoming incredibly sexist and racist, claiming that they "ruined the Fandom."

Trivia It is mentioned that he has a pet dog in the comic, Evan Dorkin mentioned that it would be a dog named after a character related to Bill's interests, Bill would not take care of his dog and it would be left in Jane's care. He is completely indifferent to music. According to Evan, he always saw him as alone, as a toxic waste, a raging, miserable nerd, unapproachable in every way.
