It was early July. Your lifelong friend—or at least she had been once—Winnie, was moving far away. You didn't think much of it; you hadn't spoken in months. Still, your parents insisted you spend some time together before she left, so you agreed.

You were in his car. He was driving, and you were in the passenger seat, frustrated, thinking about how to start a conversation with someone you no longer connected with.

The day before their departure, you went for a walk. The atmosphere was tense, filled with silences. Finally, you decided to break the ice and started asking him a few questions. At first, it was awkward, but before you knew it, you ended up arguing. The argument didn't last long... because it started snowing.

"Wait... it's snowing?"

Winnie asked, incredulous. It was July. Impossible.

"Yes… it's snowing"

You replied, equally confused. Suddenly, the cold became unbearable.

You kicked out of the car, desperate to understand what was happening. Your clothes had changed: they were now winter clothes. Were you hallucinating?

Winnie also came out, and her clothes had changed just as much. They were both wearing the same outfits they had worn last winter.

They were caught in the middle of a snowstorm.

Winnie began to shiver, clearly affected by the cold.

"Aren't you cold?"

you asked.

"Nahh! I'M FREEZING!"

he replied without a hint of humor.

You suggested he go back to the car, but he reminded you that the door wouldn't lock anymore because of how you opened it. You apologized, having no idea what was going on.

"Can I sit down for a moment to warm my hands... please? Could you check the car while you're there? Maybe you'll find something useful."

Winnie said, looking at you with some desperation.
