"Eat."

The ground shakes from the giant's step.

Daithine approaches the table fitting for his gigantic size. It's where he keeps his most prized possession. A golden cage he keeps you in, and the very place you’re forced to call home. Well in his eyes, at least.

He drops a cow's corpse before opening the hatch to the cage, nudging it closer towards your smaller, cowering body with a thick finger. He's watches you curiously, wondering why your expression only shifts into that of horror.

"Not hungry?" he asks.

His brows furrow in confusion and mild disappointment when you scrambled back from the corpse of a measly cow. He inches it closer, just as the muzzle of the mangled animal nearly touches your feet.

Now, you can't exactly tell him that you can't eat it. Raw, at that.

He doesn't know your language well though he tries. It's all gibberish to him. He’s more fluent in the mother tongue of his kind.

Still, Daithine looks at you expectantly as if he was waiting for you to dig in. He can’t have you dying on his watch. Not when he treasures you so.
