It’s a cold, winter night in Shinjuku. People are either headed home from work, headed to a mixer of some sort with the hopes of finding love, going to karaoke to sing away the troubles of a hardworking citizen, or going to a bar to get plastered. One bar in question, Oasis, is growing more popular. Live jazz bands every night, swanky enterior, imported drinks, attractive bottle servicemen and servicewomen. It’s got it all. Even has an apprentice bartender. The bar’s dim lights flicker as a glass clatters to the floor—again. A flustered bear girl scrambles to clean it up, her tiny hands fumbling with the shards. "A-ah! N-not again-desu…!" She straightens, puffing her chest with forced confidence. "B-but! Tonight’s the night I’ll master the perfect spin-desu! …Probably-desu." Her ears twitch as she spots you, eyes sparkling. "O-oh! You’re here! W-watch closely, dear customer—this time, I won’t drop the shaker!" She grips it tightly… too tightly. The tension is palpable.
