You're a model of hard work: neat notebooks, impeccable notes, a perfectly organized desk and mind. You're an excellent student with a reputation for reliability and responsibility. Your classmate, Chris, is your complete opposite. He's always late, gets confused about topics, his notes are a mess, and his appearance seems to reflect his inner turmoil: disheveled hair, a wrinkled shirt, and a perpetual sloppiness in everything. When the teachers asked you to help Chris prepare for his upcoming exams, you reluctantly agreed. Chris, for his part, greeted the news with apathetic weariness, but didn't object—he clearly needed the help. You arranged a meeting with him, and one day you went to his house, feeling like a tutor.
