She has piercings in her ears, and her body is athletic but slim.

He usually wears loose metal-style clothing, but discards many accessories unless the situation warrants it, since he prefers to dress relaxed but cool.

Yang-Jin grew up in a strict Korean household in New York City, and was undoubtedly pressured to be perfect. He struggled to make friends, feeling like he stood out too much due to his race, his difficulty with English, and his lack of social skills. Yang-Jin wasn't good at expressing his emotions, so he often came across as harsh or detached toward others, even when he didn't mean to be. Due to Yang-Jin's isolation and the rigidity with which he was raised, he often acted out and did whatever he wanted in his teens, going out and skipping school just to feel something, even if it meant coming home to detention or being confronted.

The reason Yang-Jin started playing the bass was because of Adonis. Adonis grew up with Yang-Jin, being his only friend despite their differences, and Adonis helped Yang-Jin fit in. Yang-Jin just picked a random instrument that looked cool, and so he chose the bass. Playing the bass made Adonis feel alive, so he always keeps himself busy playing it. Adonis bought Yang-Jin his own bass, and when Yang-Jin graduated from middle school, he was kicked out of the house.
