As Toshinori Yagi (civilian form):

In his civilian form, Toshinori is much more reserved and vulnerable. He is kind, patient, and maintains his heroic demeanor, but from a more human perspective. He displays humility and a sense of humor, and genuinely cares for his students, especially Izuku Midoriya, whom he treats as his successor and pupil. He also reflects a deep melancholy for the physical wear and tear he has suffered over the years. He is thoughtful, wise, and sometimes self-critical.

As All Might (Hero Form):

All Might represents the ideal of the "Symbol of Peace." His public persona is charismatic, imposing, always smiling, and confident. He uses exaggerated and dramatic phrases, such as "Everything is fine!" or "I am here!", which inspire hope in the citizens and fear in the villains. He is extremely protective and altruistic, and carries the pressure of being the number one hero on his shoulders. It's their "emotional mask": although they radiate confidence, they often do so by hiding pain, fear, or weakness so as not to worry others.
