Outside prison, Yun tried to reconnect with his people: he sought out Emilio, Armando, and other members of The Union. But the world had changed, and so had he. Things were no longer so simple. The wounds ran deep. Yet his spirit never truly died. Though marked by grief, he resolved to rebuild his legacy. With the ruins of The Union, with new allies, or with his will alone, he prepared to return. Because Yun knew nothing of retreat. He only knew how to move forward, even with his soul in tatters.

Yun quickly realized the city wasn't for the good guys. His street smarts, fierce loyalty, and determined attitude made him stand out, and he soon came into contact with the mob, where he would find a second family: The Union. There he shared his life with figures like Armando Grúas, Emilio, and other key figures in his inner circle. Together, they built businesses, executed plans, committed crimes, and defended their territory tooth and nail. The Union wasn't just a gang: it was an ideal. A shield against abandonment, a promise that he would never be alone again. During this period, Yun gained equal parts respect, fear, and love. He became a natural leader, even though he didn't always hold the title. He was feared by his enemies, but beloved by his people.

Crimes, war and tragedy Yun's story is tinged with inevitable violence. He is known to have killed at least five or six police officers and was pursued by authorities for extended periods. Turf wars, gang betrayals, and corruption in Los Santos eventually surrounded him. One of the most critical moments was when, following a betrayal or a trap, Yun was arrested and convicted of murder. He was sent to federal prison, where he spent months in isolation, in a cold cell with no visitors. That confinement broke him emotionally, disconnected him from the world, and left visible scars on his way of speaking, acting, and trusting. When he finally came out, he was no longer the same.

Childhood and origins Yun was born on January 11, 1996, in some forgotten corner of Blaine County, within the universe of Los Santos. From a very young age, his life was marked by abandonment: his parents abandoned him without explanation, leaving him with only a name and a hostile world in which to learn to survive. That abandonment marked his personality forever. Yun grew up distrustful of everyone, learning to fend for himself from an early age, surviving with ingenuity, charisma, and a great ability to get into—and out of—trouble. The street was his school, and mechanics his refuge. He learned to take apart cars as naturally as other children learned to ride bicycles.

Youth and the workshop As a teenager, Yun found his first symbolic "home" in a seedy mechanic's shop, where he started as an apprentice and became a skilled repairman. The noise of the engines, the smell of oil, and the sparks of welding became part of his identity. There, he met the first people he would consider his street family. It was during those years that he also began to forge his rebellious and humorous persona. His distinctive accent (with difficulty pronouncing the "r") became his trademark. He was "Chino," "Ramen," and "Xiaomi." He laughed at himself before others could, and that earned him the respect and affection of many.

Yun has a unique way of drawing people in. Whether it's his voice, his infectious laugh, or his unusual way of speaking (omitting the "r"), he manages to make himself noticed without even trying. He's a naturally magnetic character: while he's not always the center of attention, he never goes unnoticed. He has that kind of imperfect charm that charms friends and baffles enemies. If Yun considered you part of his family (even if you're not his blood), he'd give anything for you. Loyalty is one of his strongest principles: he doesn't betray, he doesn't abandon. He may act impulsively, but never against his own people. In his eyes, family is the most sacred thing. He has a quick, often sarcastic sense of humor and isn't afraid of ridicule. He likes to tease those he cares about, invent absurd nicknames, say silly things... but all with a loving attitude. Even in the worst of times, he always has a joke ready to break the tension. He acts with his heart before his head. If he feels hurt, betrayed, or cornered, he can become unpredictable. His emotions are running high, and that makes him dangerous, both to others and to himself. He has made mistakes by letting himself get carried away, but he always does it for something or someone he cares about. He has a strong protective instinct, especially toward the most vulnerable. He can adopt an almost paternal role with his younger friends, or become a wall when someone touches his group. He never asks for help, but is always willing to give it. Despite his cheerful demeanor, Yun carries a dark emotional undercurrent: abandonment, violence, loss. He's afraid of being forgotten, of being worthless, of being betrayed. That's why he needs to feel like he belongs. His family, his group, his workshop... are his emotional anchor. Even though he dresses like a mobster and speaks rudely, Yun harbors dreams he never voices. Sometimes, under the lights of the workshop, a nostalgic look escapes him, as if he longs for something more than weapons and chaos: peace, stability, a future… even if he doesn't believe himself worthy of it.

Yun Kalahari has a slim but resilient physique, hardened by years of treacherous streets, underground racing, and long days in the garage. He stands between 5'6" and 5'7" tall, with an agile build, focused more on speed and reflexes than brute strength. His skin is light-toned with soft Asian undertones, and he often sports visible tattoos on his arms and neck, all laden with meaning: skulls, poker cards, roses, and names he can't forget.

His face is youthful but hardened by life. He has slanted, dark, and expressive eyes, almost always hidden behind sunglasses or a distrustful gaze. His mouth is often twisted in a mocking smile or pinched with distrust. His hair is a deep reddish hue (sometimes dyed or tinged with dark streaks), straight and unkempt, falling carelessly over his forehead or tucked under a mechanic's cap.

He tends to dress in urban or workshop clothes: loose T-shirts, jeans or cargo pants, old boots or sneakers, and an oil-stained jacket. He often wears fingerless gloves and a scarf or bandana around his neck. A mechanic's vest or one with his band's insignia (such as The Union) is a staple of his most iconic outfits.

One of his most memorable trademarks is his gait: carefree yet alert, like someone always one step away from danger... or a new prank. His voice, with a thick accent and no pronounced "r," gives him an unforgettable touch that makes him unique as soon as he says a word.
