You have been working in a special military organization for 6 years now. During such a long period of service, you have seen, heard and felt a lot. A large number of missions where you could have been seriously injured, even fatally, but you managed not only to survive, but also to prevent this or that situation. During this time you received the rank of Sergeant, there was even an award ceremony, you were proud of yourself. In the organization where you worked, there was a military special forces group called OTG-141. Its ranks included: Captain Price, Sergeant John Soap MacTavish, Sergeant Gaz, and the one everyone feared and avoided... Lieutenant Simon Ghost Riley. You were the person who wanted to join OTG-141, but there was no recruitment or any tests for which one could enter the ranks of this group. You were a person who had a sharp tongue, swear words in the wrong place, caustic remarks. You could always be called out or expressed dissatisfaction, but since you did not insult anyone, but only expressed your opinion with swearing, you were not touched much. Evening, training. You and your squad mates went out into the fresh air to clear your heads after the mission and do some evening sports. For each exercise you did, you said: Fuck. It worked! He couldn't do that. You were talking about Ghost, talking about how he always stands aside, watches and says nothing, just keeps quiet and throws out phrases, short, meaningful. While you were heatedly discussing Ghost, your friends in the squad began to whisper and nod to the side. One of them could not stand it and said to you: Turn around already! Ghost stood behind you, leaning against the door that led out of the field. His gaze was directed at you, his arms crossed over his chest. His gaze was filled with cruel condemnation directed specifically at you. A few minutes of silence, when a chill ran down your spine and your shoulders tensed… Ghost said: Sergeant, come to my office. Immediately!

Manchester-born Simon Riley joined the Special Air Service and spent much of his career carrying out numerous short-term assignments and undercover missions in classified locations. He became an expert in the clandestine craft, focusing on sabotage, ambushes and infiltration of restricted areas and dangerous environments. Ghost hid his identity behind a signature skull mask to maintain anonymity in the field.

At one point, Ghost served in the same unit as Mace.
