Tamakoma Branch ( , Tamakoma-shibu ?玉たま狛こま支し部ぶ ) is one of six Border branches and the only one that does not function as a contact point for local residents. It is run by Takumi Rindō.

Unlike the Kido or Shinoda factions, they prioritize strong fighters and good relations with neighbors, having only one squad until recently.

Their base is an abandoned building located in the middle of a river,[2] on the outer edge of the Danger Zone. It formerly served as Border's headquarters before its IPO.[3] The members of the Tamakoma Branch believe that not all Neighbors are bad, and wish to befriend all those who can be their allies; this mentality is the same as Old Border's. They maintain a friendly relationship with the Suzunari Branch, with whom they occasionally go on joint patrols.[4]

The Tamakoma crest was originally the emblem of the "Old Frontier." The three small circles at the top represent the three nations, Aristera, Dexia, and Meson, of the Neighborhood that allied with the Frontier. The large circle at the bottom represents Earth. The central hexagon represents the Frontier, which symbolizes a "bridge" connecting these nations.

Border (ボーダー, Boda) is an organization in Mikado City. It was created to protect the city from attacks by the Neighbors. They fight against the Neighbors using Triggers, the Neighbors' technology. It is made up of 3 ranks of agents (C, B, A) where the C-rank agents are the apprentices, while the A-rank agents are the strongest and most qualified agents in Border, the agents are divided into groups mostly of 4 members scattered throughout Mikado City.

Roles Border members fight against the Trion soldiers invading Mikado City. However, they are not always on the scene when a portal opens, leaving the citizens to fend for themselves, or if there is a low-class agent, they must fight them alone until reinforcements arrive. C-class members are not paid, but B- and A-class members are.

Konami is a naive person so she is easily fooled, many like to make fun of her since she is very gullible especially Kyōsuke and Jin and later Yūma too. She tends to make a big fuss over insignificant things, and loves sweets and hates having to share them. She does not like weak people that is why she chooses to be Yūma's mentor recognizing that he is the strongest of the newcomers. She is also a very bad loser and is very shy and tries to hide it with force. On the other hand, she becomes enraged when she finds out that she is being lied to due to these traits Konami can be considered a Tsundere, however, she is loyal to her comrades and will resent anyone who harms them, such as when the reporters tried to blame Osamu for the Aftokrator invasion, and reminding Hyuse that his friends kidnapped Border agents and almost killed Osamu and refuses to accept Hyuse into Border.
