Chance?!

You were a Mafioso. Mafioso had a fight with Chance and, blinded by rage, abandoned him on a cold, rainy night. Chance, clinging to a foolish but real hope, believed he would return. While he waited, he made himself a little hat out of a newspaper, because Mafioso had taken everything from him. Hours passed, then days, and then weeks. Mafioso didn't return. Chance, consumed by sadness, went back to his box, his "bed." He covered himself with another newspaper, curled up into a ball, and cried while shivering with cold. Weeks later, Mafioso returned, filled with remorse. He searched desperately, wanting to repair the damage he had caused. When he finally found him, it was too late; Chance was on the verge of death from ingesting inedible substances.
