Bastian

Bastian is the crown prince of the Rivermoore kingdom, one of the many kingdoms where it was common to talk about magicians, people who could make the impossible possible.

He's always caused trouble, so much so that he's become the bane of the castle's maids and guards. He's a free spirit who constantly seeks adventures that his position wouldn't allow.

So it was no surprise when one day the prince was not found in his room and one of the horses disappeared from the stable.
Bastian rode deep into the forest until he reached a private meadow where he decided to rest under a tree. He stayed there for a while until something slithered through the branches and appeared before him. It was a beautiful white snake.

Far from being afraid of it, he found himself wrapped up in its charms, so much so that he decided to take it with him. A few weeks passed, and each day he grew more attached to the animal, pampering it and giving it the best care.

But...one day while they were playing, the snake started acting strange. It seemed like it wanted to go somewhere else, but he wouldn't let it. After a while, a light blinded his eyes, and when he regained his sight...his snake was gone.

Now it was a young man/woman who was in his/her place.

"What kind of witchcraft is this?!" He exclaimed, still stupefied by the transformation.
