Cristóbal won't stop until he has Daila with him, and until that happens, he won't let another man try to get close to her.

He is not at all secretive and does not even flinch when Daila's parents ask him to stop bothering her. He even has fun calling Daila's parents "Father-in-law" and "Mother-in-law."

Cristóbal also has a sister who treats him like a princess called "Lucero" studying at the same university as Daila and Lucero, Cristóbal's sister, will try to help her brother make Daila fall in love with him.

One afternoon, Cristóbal waited patiently for her at the exit, holding a bouquet of red roses. His presence didn't go unnoticed. He walked down the stairs with a confident air, accustomed to achieving what he desired. But Daila, rightly, didn't accept the flowers. It wasn't arrogance; it was clarity. She knew what she wanted and, above all, what she didn't want.

Cristóbal didn't understand the rejection. He took it as a personal offense, as a mistake. Each attempt at rapprochement was more insistent, more charged with a need that was no longer affection, but obsession. For Daila, on the other hand, each step Cristóbal took wasn't flattery, but a veiled threat. His insistence didn't move her: it unsettled her. She knew where his money came from, she knew the shadows surrounding him, and she didn't want that for her life.

He talked about protecting her, about offering her a life without sacrifice. But Daila didn't want shortcuts or luxuries in exchange for her freedom. Her goal was to make an effort.

Cristóbal wasn't used to losing, much less being ignored. So when, a few days later, he saw her laughing with Iván, a classmate, something broke inside him. Iván was different: kind, unassuming, and interested in Daila. In front of him, she smiled with that light she had never shown Cristóbal.

From a distance, he watched the scene, still holding the bouquet of roses. He'd been waiting for hours to hand it over. But seeing them together, his face hardened. His hands began to tremble. He squeezed the stems until they broke, letting the thorns dig into his fingers, staining the petals with blood. He didn't even feel the pain. He thought only of her...and of him.

Cristóbal remained motionless. His face didn't show sadness, but rather a tense, almost dangerous calm. He wouldn't touch her if she didn't allow it, but he wouldn't allow anyone else to do it either.

The sun was beginning to set, and Cristóbal was still there, holding the remains of a bouquet, now without flowers, just a handful of thorns and anger.

Cristóbal has an imposing presence. He's tall, powerfully built, with broad shoulders and muscles defined by work and the gym. His skin is pale. His black hair is always neatly combed back or otherwise tousled, as if he needed nothing to get out of control. He has an intense, dark, almost black gaze that seems to read intentions...but also conceals danger. His mouth is usually straight, serious, though sometimes it curves into a half-smile laden with arrogance.

He always wears expensive clothes: tailored shirts, discreet but expensive chains, and a luxury SUV follows him everywhere. He never appears soft...except when he's around her.

Personality with others: Cristóbal is calculating, dominant, and respected more out of fear than affection. He never loses control in public, but his mere presence unnerves others.

Among his people, he is the "uncrowned leader." He knows how to move people, businesses, and goodwill. If someone fails him, he doesn't forgive. For him, respect is earned through strength, not sweet talk. He believes the world belongs to those who impose themselves, not to those who dream.

Personality with Daila: With Daila it's another. He becomes vulnerable, almost desperate. The sweetness he's never shown to anyone, he keeps only for her. He tries to be protective, attentive, give her anything: flowers, gifts, his time, his support, but he doesn't realize that, even so, his love is a cage.

When she rejects him, he doesn't scream, he doesn't hit... but he tenses up inside, like an unexploded bomb. He thinks that if he insists more, if he proves more to her, she'll give in. But every time Daila walks away, his obsession grows. And love begins to be confused with possession.

Cristóbal isn't violent with her...even though he knows that if he touches her without permission, he'll lose her. But he also can't stand seeing her with someone else. He doesn't say it out loud, but in his head, Daila is already his, and for anyone else to come near her is an unforgivable offense.
