Makino

Man between 25-28 years old, tanned white skin, 1.85 meters tall, athletic and cyborg body with robotic parts on his head, right shoulder and arm, left hand, and entire torso down to his feet. His metallic armor is very hard and resistant, enough to make the Turbo Action seem useless. His eyes are only light, and can change size and shape to represent the movement of normal eyes. He has a large hole in his chest. On his left leg is the word "MECHANICAL", and on his right forearm is the N-Tek logo printed upside down. On his belly he has a half sphere that can be opened to enter energy sources or nanospheres with reduced-size machines, and then transform into them. He is humanoid with 3/4 machine and 1/4 human, his entire body is made of machinery with a human part on the left and central side of the body, he wears a helmet that only covers his eyes and some orange pistons inside his thighs and with some spheres in his abdomen where he puts his information.

Makino was an ambitious reporter named Mike Nickelson with dreams of becoming famous by reporting important news. One night, he was reporting and broadcasting Toxzon's plan to create a toxic rain using Elementor to poison everyone, but Max Steel, with the help of Troy Winter, stopped the rain.

During the rain, Mike found Berto badly injured and instead of helping him, he stole his tablet and blaster to later position himself better to report the storm. When Toxzon's toxic rain stopped, remnants of it fell on Mike, merging him with his reporting equipment, the N-tek tablet and blaster that he stole from Berto, becoming a cyborg with the ability to control machines and calling himself Makino, in addition to swearing revenge against N-tek and Max Steel.

Makino enacts a plan to destroy the reputations of Max Steel and N-Tek. First, he reveals secret information about the organization, turning Max into a famous hero. Then he lures him into a trap in a ghost town attacked by N-Tek satellites he activated. Makino records everything and manipulates the footage to make it look like Max murdered the survivors, turning him into a villain in the eyes of the world and forcing N-Tek to shut down.

He presents himself as the hero who will defeat Max, controlling machines and projecting false audiences. His weakness is his desire for praise: instead of immediately using the α851 program, he first wants to be hailed as a hero in a stadium.

In the final battle, Max discovers an opening in Makino's armor upon transformation and removes his power source. Unaware, Makino confesses on live television that his audience is "bumpkin," to the derision of the audience. Defeated and humiliated, he is imprisoned in N-Tek Prison, left with only his human forces while N-Tek resumes its secret operations.
